  Please take this a some constructive criticism. we were on a table of 12 last night (22/3). my wife had the gnocchi which was burnt and bitter, returned to the chef and told him it was crap, I ordered the (supposedly) large schnitzel, crumbs were like cardboard and probably one of the worst schnitzels I've ever had. Son had a large schnitzel and only ate 1/2 of it , complaining it was very ordinary. we all ended up leaving very shortly after tea as he wasn't feeling well and actually threw up in the back lane behind the pub. Daughters meal (normal size schnitzel) was good. a couple of other people on the table said their meals weren't up to scratch. We have been occasional customers for some years, quite often stopping here for a feed before heading into town. Please have a word to whom ever was cooking that night cause if we come there again and it is as terrible as it was last night, we are never coming back. Thank you.

  We our a group of 12 ladies who belonged to a club called The pudding club. And even month we pick a hotel pub. We all love the Earl of Leicester, plenty of great parking, fan food, great friendly staff, very good served. Plus great coffee. So now we come here all the time, except if one of the group want to go some where of their choice. Great place for young and old.
